How to leave food and drink to the Magi

The Magi came from the East to visit Jesus newborn, on January 6. They brought him gold, incense and myrrh as a gift. The tradition on this day is to leave gifts to the children commemorating these Kings. A very ingrained custom for this date is to leave food and drink to both the Kings and their camels. We tell you what is typical to do.

Steps to follow:

First of all, remember to place the food of the camels at the entrance of your house and that of the Magi in your living room.

The first thing you can do is prepare some dry grass in a container, this way you will have food for the camels . Then, look for a large fountain where you can put fresh water for the camels. Place both containers in the garden or near the door.

Next, you must leave food and drink to their Majesties. You can make some cookies or Christmas candy and put them on a plate. Also, you can leave three glasses and a jug of water to cool them down.
