How to split a pdf

You have a pdf document of many pages and you are interested in sending it by mail, but you do not get it. Either it weighs too much and your email manager does not let you send it, or it just takes an eternity to upload (and then download). Would there be any way to make it weigh less without diminishing its quality? The easiest solution is to divide it into several documents. Maybe you even want to do it because you're only interested in just a few pages. How to do it? In .com we tell you how to split a PDF.

Steps to follow:

one

You could split the PDF using Adobe Acrobat, but it is a paid application. There are many online options to do the same for free, such as www.splitpdf.com .

two

Once there, tell where you want to upload the file you want to split -from your computer, Dropbox or Google Drive - and select it.

3

Next, enter in "Pages" the page numbers (sections: from 5 to 10, for example) that you want to convert into a separate file. If you want to make many files, go by clicking on "More".

Also select the options you want: "Extract all the pages in separate files" (one page = one file), "Join the sections of pages in a single file" and "Customize the names of the divided files". When everything is ready, click on "Split".

4

The division process will begin. When you are ready, a system box will open for you to choose where to save the ZIP file in which the PDFs are divided. Select location and click "Save."

5

Unzip the ZIP that you just downloaded and open the folder. You will see that inside are the PDF files in which you have divided the original document.
