To reduce the size of a pdf, you will need to have Adobe Acrobat Pro . If you do not have it and you do not want to buy it, you can use your free trial version for 30 days. Download it at www.adobe.com and install it.

Open Adobe Acrobat Pro and, in the dialog box that will open to see what you want to do, select "Open ...".

Select the pdf file you want to reduce in size and click "Open".

With the file open, go to the File menu> Save as another ...> PDF of reduced size.

A small dialog box will open in which, in a drop-down menu, you can choose which version of Acrobat you want the pdf to be compatible with. If you do not know what to do, leave it in "Keep existing" and click "OK".

Choose where you want the PDF to be saved and how you want to call it. Click on Save You already have your PDF with reduced size .
