How to create two Access 2007 primary keys

Access 2007 is the database component of the Microsoft Office suite . Access databases can consist of tables, queries, reports and forms. Tables and forms are the means of entry, while reports and queries output output. When you create tables, you can choose to set a unique identifier for the table. This is done by establishing a primary key . Commonly the primary or primary keys include Social Security numbers, customer identification number and automobile number fields.

Steps to follow:

one

Open Access 2007 and click on a database in the "Open recent database" list in the right task pane. The database opens.

two

Find a table in the navigation pane. Click on the table and select "Design View".

3

Decide which two fields will be the primary keys. Click on a field and press the control key. Click on the other field. Both fields are now selected.

4

Press the primary key icon on the "Design" tab. Both fields have been designed as primary keys.
