How to make morse code transmissions

With these two transmitters you can send secret messages from one room to another, or from your house to the outside. When someone presses the switch of one transmitter, the bulb of the other lights up. Then the recipient of the message can send a reply by blows. Use the morse code or make up your own signals. Transmitters are hard to do, so follow the instructions very carefully. Look at the following article, how to make morse code transmissions.

You will need to:
  • 2 small and long cardboard boxes with a lid large enough for a battery
  • 2 4.5-volt batteries
  • 2 bulb holders with 3.5 volt bulbs
  • 5 wires for each transmitter each one a little longer than the boxes, with the tips bare
  • 3 pieces of cables large enough to pass from one room to another.
  • Tinfoil
  • 10 paper pins
  • 2 strips of cardboard
  • 2 rubber bands
  • Adhesive tape and scissors
Steps to follow:

one

First of all put a small tin paper at one end of the inside of the box. Put a pin through the tin foil and the box. Glue the tin foil around the edges with tape.

two

Then roll the ends of two pieces of cable around the pin . Fold back the tips under the box and cover with tape. Tape the cable with adhesive tape, as seen in the drawing

3

Then insert a pin through the other end of the box. Mark it on the outside of the box as Terminal 1.

4

Then connect the end of a cable to the pin. Fold back the ends and tape them. Connect the end of the other cable to a battery terminal .

5

Fold a piece of cardboard in half lengthwise. Insert a pin through one end and attach a new piece of wire to it. Close the cardboard with adhesive tape.

6

Then hold the switch with the pin that is under it, at the bottom of the box with tape. Make sure the pin touches the tin foil.

7

Then insert a second pin next to Terminal 1. Mark it Terminal 2. attach the switch cable to it, fold the ends back and cover them with adhesive tape.

8

Cut two small slots on the sides of the box as seen in the drawing. Extend a rubber band around the bottom of the box, through the slots and under the transmitter switch .

9

Cut a large square hole in one end of the box lid . Cut the other end. Make a hole big enough to insert a bulb through it .

10

Then wind the tip of a new piece of cable around each pin in the bulb holder. Insert the bulb through the hole in the lid. Fix the bulb holder with tape.

eleven

Next, insert a third pin next to Terminals 1 and 2 at the end of the box. Mark it as Terminal 3. Attach one cable from the bulb holder to this pin and the other cable from the bulb holder to the free terminal of the battery.

12

Place the battery in the box and put the entire cable inside . Place the lid on top of the box, with the hole above the switch. Fix it with adhesive tape. Now make a second transmitter, in exactly the same way as you did the first one.

13

Put the two transmitters one in front of the other. Wind one end of a long cable around Terminal 1 in a box. Join the other end of the cable to Terminal 1 of the other box. Use a cable as long as you want.

14

To finish, connect another long cable from Terminal 2 to Terminal 3. Place the third long cable from Terminal 3 to Terminal 2. The transmitters are thus ready to be used.
