How to delete large spaces in Microsoft Word

Microsoft Word 2007 and 2010 add a relatively large space of 10 points, after each paragraph or return. Microsoft Word 2003 did not. Although this feature is subject to personal taste, you may not like it. The good news is that you can remove these large spaces with just a few clicks of the mouse. This method basically causes the Word 2007 or 2010 document to adopt the default spacing of Word 2003.

You will need to:
  • Microsoft Word 2007 or 2010
Steps to follow:

one

Open the Word document in Microsoft Word 2007 or 2010 .

two

Click on the "Start" tab

3

Click on "Change styles" in the "Styles" section. Select "Style set", and click on "Word 2003".

4

Now, the whole document will adopt the same spacing between paragraphs as it does between the rows within the paragraphs.
