How to divide your annual salary to know the monthly salary

Division is a mathematical process to determine how many times an amount goes into another amount. The divided number is known as the dividend, the number that enters the dividend is known as the divisor, and the answer is known as the quotient. Salaries are usually expressed in annual terms, but often, it is convenient for the budget or for other purposes to break the annual amount into monthly or weekly totals.
