How to use a screenshot

Although taking a screenshot does not involve a lot of work or experience, you should have some kind of understanding about what you should do after taking a screen shot. When you take a screenshot, the image does not appear magically on your computer. You must choose where you want to place it. That is why we will explain below step by step how to use a screen capture.

Steps to follow:

Press the "Print Screen" key on the keyboard to take a screenshot, what you will capture is everything you see on the screen. To take a screenshot of a single window, click on the window and press "ALT" and "Print Screen".

Click on the "Start" menu and type "Paint" in the "Search" box. Click on "Paint" when it appears in the "Programs" list.

Click on the page of the document that appears, and select "Ctrl" and "V" to paste the screenshot.

Once you have the image in the paint, you can edit it as you want.

Press the "Ctrl" and "S" keys to save the image or go to the top left of the paint and record the image wherever you want.

  • You can paste the screenshots in any photo editing program.
