How to set the control panel of the taskbar in Windows 7

The control panel in Windows 7 gives you quick access to important configuration settings for your computer. While you can navigate to the Windows 7 control panel in two mouse clicks, advanced users can find one-click access. If you usually make changes to your computer's configuration, you can speed up access to configuration services after creating a Control Panel link in the Windows 7 taskbar.

Steps to follow:

one

Click on "Start" in the Windows 7 taskbar. Next, click on the "Control Panel" link.

two

Look for the Control Panel icon in the taskbar. Once you open the Control Panel, an image icon of a blue computer monitor appears in the taskbar. The icon will be to the right of any other application icon in the taskbar.

3

Click on the blue Control Panel icon in the taskbar. Click on "Pin this program in the taskbar" that appears in the pop-up menu.

4

Close the "Control Panel". Once you close the window, the Control Panel icon will also be in the Windows taskbar. To open the control panel in the future, simply click on its icon in the taskbar.
