How to install a font in PowerPoint

While Office programs, such as PowerPoint, have a wide variety of pre-installed sources, users can download new ones. The design of the fonts is particularly popular among graphic design students and enthusiasts. There are many different websites from which you can download free and commercial sources . This is useful if there is a particular theme for the document you are creating, such as a holiday, and you find a source that relates to the theme. You can install a PowerPoint source by following a few steps.

Steps to follow:

Click on the Windows "Start" button and select "Control Panel." In the "Control Panel" window, click on "Appearance and personalization".

Click on the "Sources" option. On the "Sources" page, click on the "File" menu and select the " Install new source " option. This action will launch a separate "Add Fonts" dialog window.

Click on the "drive" drop-down menu to select the location in which the font files are stored. Double-click on the corresponding folder in the "Folders" section.

The available font files will appear in the "Font list" box in the "Add sources" window. Select the name of the source and click on the "Install" button in Powerpoint.
