How to print from a Terminal Server with Windows

A Terminal Server is a computer with Microsoft that hosts the remote control software. Terminal Server is the old name given to Remote Desktop Services. The term "Terminal Server" is installed in Windows 2000 and 2003 server software. You can use Remote Desktop on the local computer to connect to a Terminal server. In the connection configuration, you can also connect to the Terminal Server printers to print from the remote computer.

Steps to follow:

Click on the Windows "Start" button. Type "remote desktop" in the "Start" text box of the menu. Press the "Enter" key to open the software that connects to the terminal server .

Click on the "Options" button in the remote desktop window. A list of options expand. Click on "Resources" to configure local resources for the session.

Check the box "Printers". You can also check the "Clipboard" to share the data from the Windows Clipboard with the remote connection.

Enter the name of the Terminal Server server in the "Computer" text box. Click "Connect" to connect to the terminal server . You can use the printer while it is connected to the remote computer.
