How do I start a program when Windows starts?

There are many programs and processes that start when you turn on your computer. Some of them are part of Windows, and many are third-party programs installed by the manufacturer or the user, such as Adobe Reader or AOL Instant Messenger. If you want to force a program to start with Windows, there is a simple feature built into Windows called the startup folder. When you move a program or shortcut to this folder, it starts immediately after you log in to Windows.

Steps to follow:

one

Turn on the computer and enter. Wait for the programs that start automatically, finish loading.

two

Click on the "Start" button, then "All Programs." Find the program you want to start automatically. Be sure to find the program or shortcut itself, not just the folder.

3

Click on the program or the shortcut, and hover your mouse over "Send to ..., " and click on "Desktop (create shortcut)".

4

Click on the shortcut on the desktop and hold down the left mouse button. Move the shortcut over the "Start" button, then "All programs, " and then the "Start" folder. Release the left mouse button.

5

Restart your computer. Now, the program starts automatically after entering.
