How to set a text tone for the iPhone

The iPhone uses a text tone to warn you of a text message. You can choose between several different tone sounds that are preloaded on the iPhone . Using the easy-to-use touch screen of your iPhone, you can easily switch from one charged tone to another with just a few taps with your finger.

To change the text tone of your iPhone, tap on "Settings" on the home screen.

Then a new window will open and you will have to press "Sounds" in the configuration screen.

Now you have to touch with your finger the icon that says "New text message."

Tap the sound you want to select as your text tone. The chosen tone will be displayed with a check mark on the right side of the screen.
