How to remove all data from the BlackBerry Bold 9700

The BlackBerry Bold 9700 can store hundreds of addresses, months of text messages and several applications in its internal storage. It can take hours to erase all the data manually, but the BB 9700 includes a faster automated method. Each BlackBerry has a "security erasure" function, which, as the name implies, deletes all data from the phone. Pressing the "security erasure" opens a form in which you can customize the types of data you want to delete from the phone.

Steps to follow:

one

Turn on the Blackberry 9700 by pressing the green power button in the upper right corner of the keyboard.

two

Click on "Options." The operating system options of the 9700 appear.

3

Click on "Security." New options open.

4

Click on "clear security." This option allows you to erase all the memory of the blackberry 9700.

5

Select the options next to the items you want to delete.

6

Scroll to the end of the "security cleanup" form and click on the confirmation text field. A cursor appears allowing you to enter the security code.

7

Enter "BlackBerry."

8

Click on "Clear".
