How to remove DRM to eBooks on Kindle
If you still do not know what it is, DRM is a kind of invisible lock that not only does not allow you to read your ebook in other electronic devices, but you can also delete them at any time; therefore, the books you buy on Amazon and other websites may be called "rented", instead of "purchased."

You will need to:- A computer with Internet access.

Click here to download Caliber; it is simply an electronic book manager, but without it you will not be able to eliminate the DRM . You will also need to install these plugins.

Unzip all the files that you have downloaded to the desktop, now let's work with them!

Run Caliber in your eBook and click on 'Preferences', then click on 'Change Caliber behavior'; click on 'Advanced', 'Add-ons' and, finally, 'Upload file complement'.

Do you remember the plugins folder unzipped in point 2? Go to it and open 'Caliber Plugins'; there you will find several .zip files, from these open the first one and select 'Add' (if it does not appear, you will find 'Open').
A new pop-up window will appear, press 'Yes' and 'Accept' in the next one. Repeat this process until you have added all the 'Caliber Plugins' modules.

To configure 'Kindle and Mobipocket deDRM (0.4.5)', go to 'Add-ons' and then 'Add-ons of file type'.
If you can not find it, you can check 'Show only the add-ons installed by the user'.

Enter the serial number of your Kindle, press 'Apply' and, finally, 'Close'.

Last step! Download the Amazon application for Kindle ; Execute it and press on 'Archived content'. Now all the books purchased on the web page should appear, double click on the one you want to download.
Once done, go back to Caliber and select 'Add directory books, including subdirectories (Multiple books ...)'. In Mac OS X they are in a folder under 'Documents' entitled 'My Kindle Content'. Ready! After importing them they will be free of DRM.
