How to choose a mobile

The time has come: your mobile phone is not what it used to be or it has just died (sometimes it happens) and you are going to buy another one. The problem? There is too much supply and you have no idea where to start. What to take into account when buying a mobile ? Depending on the use you are going to give and the money you want to spend, there will be phones that suit you more than others. In we offer you some considerations to take into account when choosing a mobile.

Steps to follow:

one

Basic mobile or smartphone? True, it is increasingly difficult to find mobile phones "just to call", but if it really is what you are going to do, talk and send messages, and do not want Internet on your mobile, go to the basics. If, on the other hand, your friends are already looking at you for not having WhatsApp, maybe it's time to take a step towards the present and get a smartphone. We explain here How to choose a smartphone so you know what to keep in mind.

two

How much money do you want to spend? Here there are two variants that will influence the price of the phone : its range (a basic phone is not the same as an iPhone 5) and, if you buy it through a mobile operator, the rate you hire . Rate if it really makes up for you to take a mobile phone for 0 euros if afterwards you will have to pay a minimum of 30 euros per month for the rate. Is it what you really spend?

3

How much do you want it to last? This is another important question when choosing a mobile phone: if you are one of those who get tired of a mobile phone and you know that in a few months you will want to change it, choose cheap and free models : you will not have to stay and you will not have spent a lot of euros to return to do it in a few months (you can also go to something more expensive and try to sell it). If you want it to last a couple of years, look for something advanced that will not be obsolete in two months.

4

To which technical characteristics to give priority? Ask yourself what use are you going to give to your mobile : are you going to write a lot? Think of a physical keyboard. Are you playing all day? You will want a good screen and good processor. Do you love making and sharing photos? Better if the camera is something good. You travel a lot? Find a GPS that does not need data.

5

Finally, when choosing your mobile phone, do not forget to ask for advice from friends and acquaintances . Surely you know someone who knows a lot about cell phones who can advise you. Also, if one of your friends has one of the mobile phones that you are considering buying, ask him how he is doing. Nothing like a first-hand opinion!
