How to deactivate the wallpaper in Windows 7

Windows 7 offers a unique background feature that was not offered natively in Windows XP: the background slide show. This slide show allows you to use your personal photos for the background, and they are automatically changed after a certain period of time. If you do not like the slide show, you can set the desktop background with a solid color or an image background. And if you do not want a desktop background, you can simply turn it off.

Click on the "Start" button and select "Control Panel."

Click on "Ease of Access" in the Control Panel.

Click on "Accessibility Center" in the panel on the right.

Click on "Make the computer look easier" in the "Explore all options" list.

Check "Delete background images (if available)" in the "Making things on the screen easier to see" section.

Click "OK" to make your background disappear.
