When should I pass the ITV

The Technical Inspection of Vehicles (ITV) is a mandatory revision for all vehicles that circulate on Spanish roads. Several companies throughout the territory are responsible for carrying out the certifications whose content marks the Government. In this other article we explain in detail what is reviewed in the ITV .

The periodicity with which we must pass this review depends on whether the vehicle is new or its type, if it has already passed the ITV before, if problems were detected, etc. In .com we answer your question about when I should pass the ITV .

Documentation

When we passed our first revision of the ITV, they give us a sticker on which the date until the certification is valid is marked, which is a good reminder of when we should go to the ITV.

In addition, there are some certifying companies that send a text message or email in which they inform the person in charge of the vehicle that they must request an appointment for the review. In the last report of the ITV, it also appears indicated the date of the next revision.
