How to put hyperlink of an email address in Word

To minimize effort and problems, Microsoft Word automatically creates hyperlinks to an email address when you type it. Underlined in blue, this email address leads to a blank email with the email address in the "To" field. If a person clicks on the hyperlink in the Word document, they ask their team to open their default mail program so that they can write and send an email to the hyperlink address.

Steps to follow:

one

Enter the email address in your Microsoft Word document.

two

Enter the punctuation mark you want the email address to follow, if desired. Skip this step if no punctuation is required after the email address. For example, if you are typing the email address at the end of a sentence, you can type a period at the end of the address, and Word will not create a hyperlink along with the email address.

3

Write a space Word will automatically create the hyperlink of the email address.
