How to send a Flash Player file as an attachment in Hotmail

Windows Live Hotmail allows you to send files to your friends . Hotmail supports files of up to 50 MB in size, and the service allows you to send 10 GB files. The larger size works well for transferring Flash Player files . Adobe Flash Player creates and displays files such as videos and games - just the kind of strong files that make many email servers do not work correctly. Windows Live Hotmail works around the limits of other email providers by creating a Windows Live SkyDrive, album for large attachments.

You will need to:
  • Have a hotmail account
  • Have Flash Player files saved on the PC
Steps to follow:

one

Access your Hotmail account. Click on "New" in the list of options along the top of the main panel to start writing a new email.

two

Click on the option "Attachments" in the email toolbar, and then click on the "Browse" button that appears.

3

Search on your computer's hard drive in the new window until you find the Flash Player file you want to send . FLV, SWF F4V, are all Flash Player formats. Hold the "Ctrl" key while clicking on the files to select more than one.

4

Click "Open" in the "Browse" window to attach the files you have selected in the outgoing message.

5

Finish typing the message and then click "Send" at the top of the message panel to email the Flash Player files to the recipients.

Tips
  • If the file size is very high, you may not be able to send the file by email. One solution would be to compress the file and thus reduce its size.
