How to edit images in the research work

You can edit the images in a research paper using the native Windows software. Most research papers and written works are composed in Microsoft Word or its free equivalent, WordPad, which comes with Windows. Both programs offer the same functionality in terms of editing images in the research document . You can edit the images in two ways: in the document (format, size and position) or in a graphic editing program. Then we will explain with a few steps how to edit images in the research work.

Steps to follow:

Open the research document in MS Word or WordPad. Both programs have the same functionality in terms of image editing.

Click on "Insert", located in the top menu bar.

Click on "Image, " and then click on "From file."

Select the photo to insert from the hard drive, using the file browser. Double-click on the image for import.

Right click on the image after its import. Click on "Format." This will show you the format options for the image.

Select and adjust the appropriate format options. Click on the "size" tab to adjust the height, width and scale of the image. Click on the "Design" tab to select how the image will interact with the text of the research document, which is also known as "Adjustment style". Click on the "Image" tab to crop the image or change the brightness and contrast.

Open the image in an image editing program such as MS Paint (which comes with Windows) or Photoshop before importing it into the research work, to make more detailed changes. Programs like Photoshop offer the user a wide range of image editing options that native word processing software does not have. Once the photo has been edited, import it into research work.
