How to delete my Skype account
If you are tired of Skype or simply want to erase all your Internet traces, you should know that deleting your account is not possible; in fact, once your profile is created it is impossible to change your username. In any case, what can be done is to remove all the information included in your profile to protect your privacy and make it unusable.

Log in to your Skype account.

Go to your profile to edit it ; If you are in Windows, go to 'Skype', then click on 'Profile' and then 'Edit my profile'.
If you are on a Mac, click on 'File' and then 'Edit profile ...'.
If you are in Linux, click on your username and click on 'Edit profile'.

Remove all information from your account and, if this is not possible, modify the privacy of these data so that they appear private.

Once finished, your Skype profile should look similar to our screenshot. Only the username will be published. Ready!
