How to make a knot
The knot of knot is used to knot a rope with another of greater section or with some support greater than he. Sometimes we need to cancel or reduce the tension of a line (scotra, halyard, mooring, ...). For this it is enough that we have at hand a rope that we can use provisionally as a painter .
You will need to:- 2 capes

First of all you have to go around the end of the rope that you want to do. Therefore you must pass the whip on the firm.

Next, you must execute another turn behind the first, passing the whip on the firm.

With the chicote you must do, now, a check on the line to be made, in the opposite direction to the firm.

Once you have finished the boza, you can give it a second cote, but you must bear in mind that the most important thing for the knot to hold, is to keep it under tension.

If you make a breast on the last lap, you will ensure a quick way to undo the knot .
Tips- The bow knot is a provisional knot, in cases of urgency. If you want to leave some time, you must give some links at the ends to make it more secure.
