How to import videos to iMovie

Mac computers include very interesting software to make our first steps in some artistic worlds. If what you are interested in is the video, iMovie will make you happy whether you are a beginner or an amateur. However, often the first steps are somewhat more difficult and we can get stuck at the beginning of everything trying to import the video we want to edit. Do not worry, here we are to help you. Open iMovie and click on the button that says " Import " in the upper toolbar.

A popup window will open from which you can select the contents you want to import. In the left column, select the location and, in the central one, the file (or files) in question.

You can also select which event you want to be added to. At the top of the Import window, click on the " Import to: " pop-up menu and select the desired event or create a new one.

When you have everything selected, click on the " Import the selection " button, at the bottom right.

You will return to the main iMovie window, to the event in which you have imported the video. Now you can start editing! As you can see, importing videos to iMovie is very simple.
