To copy and paste text messages that you have previously written, you have to select the text of the message that you have previously written in the same chat or in another that you have maintained with another person.

To select a message, in the case of touch phones you must double-click on the text of the message that you have previously written or received from another person. If you have a smartphone with a keyboard, such as a Blackberry, you must select the text through the menu. In either case, you will see how the message will turn blue to indicate that you have selected it.

If you want to select the text message from another chat, you have to press the " Chats " option that appears on the left above the screen. In it you will go to a new window where all the chats that you have stored in your mobile appear. You will only have to select the message of the chat in which you have previously written it and then return to the chat of the person with whom you want to chat now.

When selecting messages from WhatsApp, different options will appear through icons that -in the case of Android- are:

  • Know if it has been read
  • Remove
  • Copy
  • Resend

You have to select the third option, for this you have to double-click on the " Copy " icon symbolized with two written papers.

Then you have to go back to the box to write the text of the message and double click if your phone is tactile, or locate yourself through the menu if it has a keyboard. An icon will appear in which it says " Paste " or you can access through the menu options. Click on it and the message will appear written on the screen. Now you only have to press the " Send " option so that the message reaches your interlocutor.
