How to close Skype session on Mac

Surely you have already noticed that to close your Skype session, most of the time it is not enough to minimize or even close the program. The first step is to make sure that, effectively, you are connected. In the upper left part of the Skype window your icon, your name and the option "Add credit" appear. Between the photo and your name there is a little symbol: if it is green, you are connected.

Go to the top menu of Skype (remember that in Mac OS X the menus appear at the top of the screen, not directly in the program window) and click on File .

In the menu that opens, click on the last option: " Log out ".

The Skype session will close immediately and you will see the Skype start screen (the one to enter your data to log in).
