  • Circular without lights in situations of little or very little visibility.
  • Use headphones when driving or any mobile phone device (no hands-free).

If you have lost part of them, you can recover the driving license points by completing a reeducation and road awareness course that lasts 12 hours. Only one course can be taken every two years and the number of points that can be recovered is a maximum of 4. The professionals of the steering wheel will be able to carry out a course of this type every year.

On the contrary, if you have lost all of them and therefore have your driver's license withdrawn, you must spend a minimum period of 6 months before being able to recover the points of the driver's license and the certificate itself (3 months in the case of professional drivers). In addition, you must carry out a reeducation and road awareness course that lasts 24 hours. At the end of this course you will have to perform a theoretical test related to it. If it is overcome, you will recover 8 points, no more.

8

On the other hand, every three years, those drivers who have not committed any infraction that entails the withdrawal of points will be rewarded with 2 more points on their card. In this way, and since the system of the card by points came into force on July 1, 2006, in July 2009 drivers who keep the 12 points of their card will see this number increased to 14. The maximum number of points that a driver can have is 15, so if you spend three years with 14 points on the card and without committing any infraction, only one more will be added after that period.
