How to recover deleted images from my Android phone

Now that we have left the cameras at home almost permanently, now that we trust our smartphones for probably too many things, their photo gallery is a kind of album of our life. Many we share and others we leave there forever, trusting that they stay ... until we delete one by mistake. Can you recover? Fortunately, smartphones do not eliminate them permanently until something new is overwritten on that "free" space, so it is usually possible to go back to them. In .com we tell you how to recover deleted images from your Android phone.

Steps to follow:

one

First of all, disconnect from the Internet. Simply save a photo or a video that you send by WhatsApp or that the smartphone automatically downloads something so that you can use the space of the photo you want to recover.

Keep in mind that the explanation that we give you below only works for root users, if your Android phone is not rooted you will not be able to perform this procedure and recover the deleted images. The root allows you to uninstall applications that come by default in the mobile and become superuser, effectively managing your device. If you want to do it, we invite you to read our article how to root an Android.

two

Once you know that you are a root user, from your computer go to //www.wondershare.es/data-recovery/android-data-recovery.html and click on the big orange button that says " Download ". It is a program that will help you recover deleted images. Accept the download and, when finished, open the file that you just downloaded to install the program.

Open Dr Fone for Android, the application that you just installed on your computer. A screen will appear that tells you to connect your Android to your computer via USB. Do not do it yet.

4

To continue with the process, it will be necessary to activate the Android development options ; To do this, go to Settings> About Phone and press many times on "Compile Number" until you receive a notification that you have activated Development Options.

Next, you must activate the USB debugging mode through the option Settings / Development options and make sure that the ' USB debugging ' box is activated. Now you can connect the smartphone to the computer.

5

When the program detects that something has been connected by USB, it will go to the next screen, where you have to select the device (in case there is more than one), make sure you have a battery and click "Start". The program will start looking for files.

6

The process can take several minutes, so be patient (you can go over two hours). When finished, you will see on the left a menu with different categories of files. For the photos, go to " Gallery ".

7

You will see all the deleted photos that are still in your phone's memory. Find the one you want to recover, select it by clicking on it and finally click on the button on the bottom right where it says " Recover ". Select where you want to save the photo (on your computer's hard drive), accept and go. Photo recovered.
