How to backup the iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch with iCloud

Thanks to iCloud and iOS 5, now making backup copies of the information stored on your iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch is easier than ever. Whenever you want, you can make a manual backup. To do this, go to Settings> iCloud

On the next screen, scroll to the end and click on "Storage and copies."

Once inside storage and copies, click on the "Back up now" option.

For iCloud to make backup copies automatically, check that:

  • Your device is connected to wifi
  • Your device is connected to the current
  • The screen is blocked
You just have to make sure that the option "Copy in iCloud" is activated as indicated in the image. It is the same screen that you would access to make a backup manually.
