The simplest method to write in a pdf is through an extension of OpenOffice (the equivalent to Microsoft Office but open source and free), so if you do not have it, download it here and install it.

Once you have installed OpenOffice on your computer, download the Sun PDF Import extension (you can do it from this link) and save it.

Open OpenOffice Writer from: Start, All Programs, OpenOffice.

Open the Tools menu, choose Extensions Manager and press "Add".

A window will open from which to choose a file: go to the place where you saved the extension and select it. Click on "Open."

Accept the license agreement and click Close. You already have the extension ready to be able to edit PDF files .

To write to a PDF, open the file from OpenOffice Writer (File> Open). You will see right away that you can edit the PDF file as if it were a .doc.
