Have you heard about Joyn ? Announced a few hours ago, it seems that this new application by MoviStar, Vodafone and Orange, aims to end, in a definitive way, with SMS and with a powerful application. Presented during the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona by Spanish telecommunications operators, Joyn has been created to combat such a powerful, ambitious and, perhaps, hurtful service for many of these companies, such as WhatsApp. To download the new service of messaging in test mode, you only have to have a mobile with Android 2.3 operating system Keep reading! You will need to:

An Android mobile with Internet access.
Operating system 2.3 or higher.

Steps to follow:

Go to Android Market from your mobile phone and look for the application. You can click here to go directly.

Select 'Install' and wait while the application download is complete.

Once Joyn is installed, go to your Android mobile's calendar. If any of your contacts have the new free messaging service installed, the application icon next to their name should appear.

Watch out! Keep in mind that, in order for the text to be completely free, the Joyn icon must appear next to the contact's name. Otherwise, the price of the message will be charged as an SMS.
