How to delete the history of your internet browser

Do you want to make sure that nobody can spy and see where you've been on the Internet? Sometimes, being able to erase the browser history can be useful, especially on shared computers. By following these instructions you will be able to do that with any browser that you use in Windows.

You will need to:
  • Modems
  • Internet access
  • Web browsers
Steps to follow:

Click on Start on the desktop.

Go to Settings.

Click on Control Panel.

Double-click on Internet Options.

Make sure that the General tab is selected.

Click Clear history in the History box.

Click OK when asked if you want to delete all items in the History folder.

Click on OK at the bottom of the general box to exit.

Tips
  • On a Macintosh, look for command names such as Preferences, Internet Options, or in Settings and options such as Delete or Delete history.
