How to change the language in Word 2010

At the time of writing documents, Word is the word processor par excellence and although we all use it continuously, sometimes we miss details as small as correctly selecting the language in which we are writing. It should be noted that by default you will have it configured in the same language as the operating system. That is why in this article we want to explain step by step how to change the language in Word 2010 so you do not have any doubts about it.

First of all, you should know that Microsoft Office and, therefore, Word uses as the default language the one that is also the default language for the Windows operating system. That is why the first thing you will have to do is go to the control panel to add this new language.

Next, you must open Microsoft Word 2010 and go to the File / Options menu to configure the language of this word processor directly. Once the pop-up window opens, you must select in the menu on the left the option 'Languages' and add the language that we want to use from now on. To the right of the list, you will see the option 'Set as default' to mark it as the language that will appear by default. Click on the 'Accept' button and if a warning dialog appears, it also confirms that you are sure you want to change the keyboard.
