How to delete the links in the address bar

Technology advances fast and in leaps and bounds. Many times they find new ways of doing things (or things that we had never set out to do), but most of the advances are small details that seek to improve what was already there and make our life easier and more comfortable. An example is predictions on sites such as the address bar of the browser. They usually help us, but you may want them to disappear from there, since they are usually based on your history. In .com we explain how to delete the links in the address bar.

Steps to follow:

one

All Internet browsers are remembering the sites you visit, and then the links that appear when you start to write an address come out. So that they do not appear, therefore, it is necessary to delete the browsing history and cookies.

two

If you are using Chrome as a browser, go to the three horizontal lines at the top right and select More tools> Clear browsing data. There, select what you want to delete, making sure that the browsing history and cookies are selected. Click on Clear browsing data and restart the browser.

3

In Firefox, go to the button in the upper right corner with three horizontal lines and select History> Clear recent history. In the window that opens, put "All" in Time range to be cleaned, and mark what you want to erase. Browsing history and Cookies must be checked. Click on Clear now and restart the browser.

4

If you are in Internet Explorer, go to Tools> Internet Options> Delete browsing history. In the window that opens, the different options of things that you can delete appear. Go clicking on the corresponding buttons (Delete files, Delete cookies and Delete History are necessary). Restart the browser.

5

If you use Safari, go to History> Clear History. A window will open asking you to confirm, do it. Next, go to Preferences> Privacy and click on Remove all data from the websites. Confirm and, when you finish, restart.
