How to block unsafe websites for children
While the Internet is a positive resource with beneficial value, parents should remain alert to websites that pose a danger to their children. These websites can be blocked from view with parental control software, but such software can be expensive. Fortunately, there is a way to block websites without the need for such software. Remember that this is just one of many steps you can take to keep your children safe online.
You will need to:- Team
- Internet navigator

Click on the "Start" button at the bottom right of the screen. Select "Run" and type "notepad c: WINDOWS system32 drivers etc hosts." This opens the "hosts" file in Notepad.

Navigate to the last line of the "hosts" file. Press "Enter" and type "127.0.0.1", followed by a space and the address of the web page you want to block.

Click on "File" and select "Save" from the drop-down menu. Exit the program and try to open the web that you have blocked . Websites should not be able to connect.
Tips- Remember that blocking websites should not take the place of definitive solutions to keep your children safe from what they can see online. Educate your children about the dangers of online interaction with foreigners and keep the equipment in a central area of the house, with the monitor in view of others.
