How to make an airplane

Create and launch your jet and try to fly as fast and far as possible. The more you practice, the better the plane will fly. • A 30 cm square of exposed polyurethane
• Strong glue
• A plasticine pigeon
• A strip of cardboard about 10 cm long and 5 cm wide

First of all it measures 15 cm by the top and bottom of the polyurethane and make marks. Draw a line between the two marks. Draw lines from the top mark to the bottom two corners. Very carefully, cut the resulting triangle to the lines. Take care that you do not break the leftover pieces.

After one of the remaining triangles, measure 5 cm on one side and draw a line from the measurement to the top angle. Cut with the scissors along the marked line. You can throw the piece that you have left over.

Then it spreads abundant glue through the center of the large triangle and along the edge of the cut piece. Let it dry and then press the two parts where you put glue, so they join well.

Flip the jet. Crush the piece of plasticine to the nose of the plane and attach it with adhesive tape as shown in the image.

Put the jet on a large sheet of paper. Wrap the wings with the paper, ensuring that the finish is perfect. Tighten it to the alert and attach the edges of the paper with glue. Cut out scraps of paper that you have over the fin. When the glue dries, paint the paper in different colors.

Fold the cardboard strip in half and stick it to the fin in the middle approximately. Nail one of the pins in the middle of the cardboard strip as you see in the drawing.

To make the launch ramp, cut a rubber band in half. Insert a large long-headed pin on each side of the cardboard box. Tie the ends of the rubber to the pins.

To launch the jet, hook the fastener of the alert, to the rubber of the launching ramp. Hold the jet flap and pull it gently back. Slide the plane back onto the ramp. Tilt the ramp slightly upwards. Aim a goal and launch it.
