How to make a Greek goddess robe

Do you want to learn how to make a Greek Goddess costume in a very simple way? You only need an old white sheet that you have at home and some other detail to have an authentic Greek tunic . Follow the steps that we explain below, and you will have a great Greek goddess costume.

You will need to:

White sheet
Two brooches or 4 ribbons to tie the tunic in the form of suspenders
Golden Belt

Steps to follow:

Take a large piece of white cloth, it is best to use an old sheet since it will be large enough to make your tunic . The length of this would have to be your height plus about 50 centimeters more. By folding it in half (as shown in the drawing) you would have to reach side by side with your arms stretched out. Fold the top part out (about 45 centimeters) and where are the red arrows on top you have to put two brooches or ribbons so that when they are joined the braces are formed. If you want at the bottom you can make a small hem.

Wrap yourself with the sheet already folded putting it around you as if it were a tube. There will be one side completely closed and another open (how the image shows). Close the pins or ribbons you have placed on the top. Now you have to put on a golden belt (you can buy it or make it yourself with a piece of string or cloth.

Tie or close the belt and pull out all the excess fabric so that it comes out over the belt. Remove the fabric as much as you need so that you do not step on the underside of the tunic. You have already made your Greek goddess costume !
