How to convert BMP images to JPG

In many cases we find that we want to change a file format to have it in another format that is more compatible with our devices or, simply, that it occupies less space. This happens a lot with the images, in we show you how to convert BMP images to JPG. To convert BMP images to JPG is to use any type of image processing program, in this case we will do it with the Paint.

If we use the Windows operating system, we should know that the basic drawing program that incorporates, the Paint, performs this conversion. To convert the BMP photo to JPG, first of all we have to look for the BMP photo and open it with the Paint program.

Next, we look for a picture with JPG format and open it with the Paint program. Once we have the photo open, we will proceed to delete it, though, without closing the program. Either by deleting on top of the image or with the option to remove from the paint.

Once we have deleted the photo, we go to the Paint where we have left the image in BMP and copy the image in BMP, either with the copy option or with Ctrl + C.

Finally, we go to the Paint where we had the JPG image in the Paint and we paste the BMP photo, either with the paste button or with Ctrl + V. Then we save, and we have the photo saved. And if we want to ensure, to save we can go to "save as" and select the JPG format.
