How to convert from HDMI to RF

High-definition video equipment typically relies on a high-definition multimedia interface cable to transmit audio and video signals. This HDMI device is commonly found on all high-definition devices. However, if you have a high definition product that has to be connected to a standard definition TV or other display device, it is necessary to convert the HDMI to connect an RF input . RF is more commonly known as coaxial cable.

You will need to:
  • HDMI to RF adapter
  • HDMI cable
  • Coaxial cable
Steps to follow:

one

Connect the HDMI cable to the "HDMI out" device port you want to connect to the RF input. Plug the other end of the "HDMI in" cable into the adapter.

two

Connect the coaxial cable to the "RF out" adapter connection, insert the free end of the coaxial cable into the "in" port of your TV.

3

Turn on the TV and connected HD equipment. Set the TV to station "3" and load the high definition program on the TV, only in standard definition.
