How to share files in AirDrop

If you have a Mac or an Apple mobile device with iOS 7 for sure you've seen the AirDrop function . You know it's good for sharing files, but you've never used it because you do not know how to do it. We have good news: sharing files using AirDrop is very easy, so if you have finally decided, but you do not know where to start, do not worry, here we are to help you. On your iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch, from the app you are in, click on the "Share" button and select the files you want to pass to another contact.

Next, the contacts you have available to share files with them will appear. They have to be close and have AirDrop activated, something they can do from the Control Center of their device.

Select the name of the user with whom you want to share the files through AirDrop. That person will receive a notification that you are trying to share a file. You just have to accept.

If you want to share files using AirDrop from your Mac with another Mac, start by opening the Finder and selecting "AirDrop" in the left column of the window (in Favorites).

Tell the recipient to do the same on his computer. You will see that your icon appears in your AirDrop window.

Next, select the file you want to share with that user and drag it to its icon in AirDrop . Click on "Send"

The recipient will see a notification that you want to send a file to AirDrop . To receive it, you can click on "Save" or "Save and open" to see it at once.
