How to encrypt files in Dropbox

To encrypt files in Dropbox, one of the best tools is Boxcryptor. Go to www.boxcryptor.com and click on "Download Boxcryptor now".

In the next screen you will have different download options by operating system. Click on the corresponding one and accept the download. If it's Windows 8, Mac OS X or Linux, you'll go to another screen first. Scroll until you find the green download buttons and click on the one that corresponds to your operating system. Accept the download.

Find the Boxcryptor (or Boxcryptor Classic) application that you just installed and open it. A window with two options will appear. Check "Create a new Boxryptor Classic folder and click" Next ".
