How to erase SMS and MMS from memory

With your mobile phone, you can receive and send short messages to your friends and family members. Two types of messages are part of the service, SMS and multimedia messages or MMS . SMS messages are usually text messages that consist of 160 characters or less. MMS messages consist of both a text message and an attachment. The attached file can be an audio file, video file or image file. To free up memory in your phone, you may want to delete these messages from your phone. The most efficient way is to eliminate each of them or delete all messages.

Steps to follow:

Access the main menu of the phone . On most phones, it is required to press the "MENU" button.

Press the navigation buttons to go to "messages" or "text messages". Press the "OK" button to access this submenu.

Press the navigation button up or down to select a text message from the list. Press the "Accept" button to open it.

Press the right key to select "Delete" in the sub-menu. The sub-menu can also have the option to "Delete all messages." Press the "OK" button and repeat the process for each message, only if your phone does not have the option to erase all messages.
