How to fix the brightness of the iPod Touch

The Apple iPod Touch has a light sensor that adjusts the brightness of the screen according to the ambient light of the room . This not only saves battery, but extends the life of the screen. Unfortunately, the light sensor may malfunction or take an incorrect reading due to a shadow or bright light in the background. Turn off the automatic brightness settings and change the brightness of the screen manually to fix the screen brightness problems.

Steps to follow:

Press the "Home" button just below the touch screen of the iPod touch, until you return to the main screen of the device.

Tap on the "Settings" application. The configuration screen will open.

Touch "Brightness." The brightness screen appears on the screen.

Press the "ON / OFF" button to the right of the "automatic brightness adjustment" until "OFF" appears with a gray background.

Press and hold your finger against the gray circle on the bar between the "small sun" and "big sun" icons. Drag the circle to the left to darken the screen, and to the right to increase the brightness of the screen.

Press the "Home" button when you have finished saving the brightness changes, and return to the home screen.
