How to do an experiment to see the noise

You can not see the noise even the pleasant noise like the music or the horrible noise of the cars screeching, but you are hearing them all the time. One way to see and feel the noise is by doing an experiment such as the one we present here. It is very simple to do but at the same time it is very well understood. • A thin plastic bag
• A metal container
• An elastic band
• A piece of paper and sugar

First of all cut on one side and the bottom of a plastic bag and hermetically sealed the mouth of the container. Place the rubber around the container to make a drum. It has to stay the same as the image

Then break a piece of paper into very small pieces. Put them on top of the drum. Tap the drum lightly with a spoon and the pieces of paper will jump.

Finally, sprinkle sugar on top of the drum. Take the tray and close it to the drum . Hit the tray strongly with the spoon. Watch carefully and you will see the sugar jump.

Why it happens When you hit the drum the tray moves when they make noise. This movement is called vibration and makes the sugar jump. When something vibrates, it makes the surrounding air vibrate. The air carries the vibration from the object to your ears and that's when you hear a noise.
