How to make a shooting gallery

As you can see from the drawing this is a shooting gallery . With each shot, you should try to take the beads or buttons inside the yogurt containers and slide them down the ramp. Each player must shoot 6 balls when the turn comes. It may seem easy but it is not. Look at the following article, how to make a shooting gallery and enjoy creating and playing.

You will need to:
  • A cardboard box with a lid about 32 cm by 16 cm
  • 6 equal containers of yogurt
  • A sheet of cardboard
  • Thick paper and a piece of cloth
  • A canyon
  • 6 balls and some beads or buttons
  • Glue and adhesive tape
  • Pencil and scissors
Steps to follow:

one

First of all draw six circles inside the bottom of the box, using the base of a container of yogurt as a guide. Cut out the somewhat smaller circles.

two

Then make an opening, about 4 cm high and 2 cm from the sides, at each end at the bottom of the cardboard box . Cut out by the red lines.

3

Then paste the bottom part of the box (where the cut circles are), to the lid, at a distance of 2/3 from one end. Go for the image.

4

Draw six circles on the thick paper, using the bottom of a yogurt cup as a guide. Cut out the circles (a). Drill a hole in the center of each circle with the scissors. Make twelve cuts, from the hole to about ½ cm from the edge of the circle (b). Glue a paper circle to each of the yogurt containers. Let them dry (c).

5

Then trim the bases of the yogurt containers and put them through the holes in the box. On the other side, only the edges should protrude.

6

Cut a strip of cardboard as wide as the inside surface of the lid of the box, and a third of the length. Place it behind the lid and stick it under the opening.

7

Then cut a piece of cloth large enough to cover the sides and the back of the box standing up. Glue one end of the fabric to the top of the box and the other below the ramp.

8

Open the end of the lid of the box, cutting through the two corners. Cut two strips of cardboard of the same length of the lid and the same height. Make cuts 1 cm long at one end of each cardboard strip. Fold the solapitas of the cuts forward and glue them to the sides of the lid of the box, as in the drawing.

9

Finally, make a cannon . Drill a hole in the two cardboard strips about 2 cm from the ends. Put the two bands of elastic rubber through the holes and make double knots at the ends.

10

How to play: Pick up the fabric and place three beads or buttons inside each container of yogurt. Hold the fabric under the ramp. Throw the balls with the barrel and try to give the beads inside the containers, to make them go out and slide down the ramp and through the opening. Each player must shoot 6 balls when the turn comes. Each account is equal to one point. Add the points after each play. The first player who manages to draw 20 accounts through the opening will be the winner.
