How is a Siberian cat

The Siberian cat, also known as the cat of the Siberian forests, is a cat breed that was created naturally in the forests of Russia by the crossing of domestic cats and wild cats . It is a large long-haired cat that stands out from other breeds of cats because of its sociable character. Physical characteristics

The Siberian cat is a corpulent cat, muscular and agile. The hair can have any color and pattern and there is the sub-race Neva Masquerade which is the Siberian cat with the color pattern of the Siamese. It is a big cat: adult females usually weigh between 4 and 6 kg and males between 5 and 8 kg and are more muscular than females.

The Siberian cat is sociable, gentle and very affectionate with its owner. It is a ready cat with a high learning capacity and that usually responds to the call. Unlike males, Siberian cat females can exhibit escapist attitudes especially in times of heat.

The Siberian cat has a dense and long hair so you have to brush it frequently (at least 2 times a week), especially in the molting season. The molting season can become constant if the Siberian cat lives inside a floor. The hair of the Siberian cat is waterproof so it does not have much tendency to knot.
