How to register a car

Enrolling a car can turn into an ordeal if we are not previously informed of all the documents that we must have in our hands and of the agencies to which we must address. So that this procedure does not become so heavy, in .com we explain clearly how to register a car.

Steps to follow:

one

The first thing we need to know to register a car is that this procedure must be carried out before the Traffic Department of our province.

two

Right there we can request the car registration form that we have to fill out, although you can also access it on the website of the Traffic Department, a practical way to do it from your home.

3

To register our car we must have prepared the 93.80 euros that will charge us as a fee.

4

They will ask for our identification (DNI or tax identification card in the case of legal persons) and the car we want to register . In the case of the vehicle, what we must present is the ITV card, with pink sheet and blue sheet with the sale diligence, invoice or award certificate if it comes from auction.

5

We will also have to present the document that proves that we have paid the City Circulation Tax in which we reside or, where appropriate, the proof that we are exempt from this payment.

6

Another tax that we have to justify at the moment of registering the car is the Tax on Registration, which is model 576, 06 or 05 of the State Tax Agency; or, also, in its case, the proof that we are exempt.

7

If the car is purchased in another country of the European Union, we must prove that we are aware of the VAT payment (with models 300 or 309 of the State Tax Agency) or prove that it is exempt, and the technical sheet of the ITV.

8

In the event that the vehicle has been purchased in a country other than the European Union, we must provide the original documentation of the car and the Single Administrative Document issued by the Customs, unless the ITV card shows the diligence import.
