How to prepare a Halloween punch

Halloween is a party that is increasingly echoed in Spain, and has become a family event where both children and adults can have fun, without spending a lot of money. The most important thing is to have some imagination, and want to be scared! Halloween is typical Halloween punch, a drink that is served with a dipper in a fountain and drink all the guests. According to the party, the Halloween punch may or may not have alcohol, because there is no single recipe: in each place is prepared in a different way. The traditional punches have as an important ingredient egg or egg cream, but for a punch of Halloween, as we have said, the important thing is the originality and respect the reason for the party, so we are going to teach you step by step how to prepare a different Halloween punch that will make your guests tremble with fear. Cheer up!

You will need to:
  • Disaronno Amaretto
  • Martini Bianco
  • Lima without alcohol
  • Grenadine syrup
  • Sour cherries and marshmallows or candy clouds
  • A latex glove and a punch bowl
Steps to follow:

Fill a latex glove with water and grenadine, alternating one and the other so that the effect is not uniform.

Close the glove and put it in the freezer for a couple of days until the content is completely hard.

In a punch bowl or cube add drinks in this ratio : 3 parts of Disaronno Amaretto, 1 of Martini and half of Lima.

Add to the punch a few partially cut cherries with no tail, and put the Halloween punch to cool as long as possible before serving.

At the time of serving, remove the hand of ice from the glove and insert it into the punch. Decorate also with marshmallows (these candies are very similar to those in Spain are known as "clouds", so you can use them if you want).

Tips
  • When making the ice hand, you can also throw some pineapple and lime juice in the grenadine, trying not to mix them (eg, a color for each finger)
  • You can also add some jelly to the Halloween punch, so that the visual effect is more impressive
  • There are effervescent candies that you can add just before presenting the cocktail, so that it gives better impression. But do not go over, because the taste will not combine well
