How to make a table ping-pong

The game that we present here is the same as the ping-pong you know, only that it is played on a smaller table. Both players need a racket to return the ball to the opposite. You will need to:
  • A thick cardboard sheet
  • Thin cardboard or cardboard
  • A sheet of foam rubber
  • A plate of desserts
  • An old nylon stocking
  • A ping-pong ball
  • Adhesive tape and glue
  • Scissors, rope and 4 pencils
  • A safety pin or hook
Steps to follow:

First of all, draw two lines with a separation of 4 cm between them and 10 cm long, on a piece of thick cardboard . Draw a circle guiding you with the plate. Cut out the silhouettes and glue them together. Do this operation twice.

Using the same plate, draw 4 circles on the foam sheet (a), and cut them out. Glue a circle of foam on each side of the cardboard circles. Look at the drawing (b).

Then wind rope around the handle of each racket and stick the ends. Above the rope, wind ribbon and insert a pencil through the handles, between the two pieces of cardboard.

Then to make the net, cut the part of the foot to an old half. Cut the middle open completely, as you see in the drawing (a). Fold 2 cm on both edges and glue them (b).

Cut two pieces of rope 80 cm long, pass them one by one through the safety pin (a). Put the safety pin through the folds you made in the middle (b). Tie the ends to two pencils.

To finish, cut two pieces of thin cardboard, as long as the edge of the table you are going to use and about 6 cm wide. Glue each one with ribbon in the center on each side of the table. Put the pencils inside them.

How to play : the winner will be the first to count 21 points. You will score a point when the other player can not respond to your ball. Each player has 5 services in one turn. The ball should bounce on both sides of the table when you play, but not on your side when you return the ball.
