How to make a volcano bottle

Here we have an amazing trick with two bottles of water, one with hot water and another with cold water where the result is a volcano. • 2 glass bottles preferably clean with wide neck.
• Cold and hot tap water
• A small square cardboard or cardboard
• A few drops of ink or water with paint.

First fill a bottle with cold water and another with hot water from the tap. Take a few drops of ink or paint in the hot water bottle to color it.

Then place the square piece of cardboard or cardboard over the mouth of the bottle with colored water. Hold it with one hand. Keep it still by turning the bottle over with the other hand (b).

Next place the bottle with the colored water over the mouth of the other bottle. The mouths must be exactly one above the other. Hold the bottle on top and take out the cardboard or cardboard .

Finally, hold the bottles as shown in the drawing. Turn them in the opposite direction to that they are, taking care that the mouths do not slip and the water comes out. Now watch.

Why it happens Hot water is less heavy than cold water, so it floats on the surface of cold water. When you turn the bottles over, the cold water is over the hot water and sinks, causing the colored water to rise.
